The diamonds are used to buy songs, yellow piano notes, and to continue on your songs. The hearts is the times you can play a song. The yellow notes can buy h3earts and a few many of songs.

You press the black buttons and you press them as fast as you can. The black notes make music notes. If you miss a black note or press a white space, you can spend 2 diamonds to continue or else you have to start the song all over again.
